Both playful and contemplative, A Violet Garden celebrates the imperfect beauty of the natural world and the gentle freedom of letting things grow. Loose, gestural brushstrokes weave together shades of violet, lilac and soft yellow, creating a sense of movement and spontaneity.
Balancing moments of delicacy with a more untamed, instinctive energy, the painting evokes the feeling of wandering through a garden half-remembered; a place where colour, form and feeling take precedence over precise detail.
Acrylic and oil pastel on cotton canvas, 70cm x 100cm. For any queries or for an accurate postage cost please email harlie@harliebriggsart.com.
